Ice Base Edlen – Acid-Free Gel Base with Neutral pH 6.8

A base coat with a neutral pH of 6.8 that is gentle on the natural nail plate! Thanks to its safe formula, Ice Base Edlen is ideal for thin and weakened nails and causes absolutely no burning sensation during curing.

This base has a liquid consistency, allowing for ultra-thin application. The acid-free formula makes it soft and elastic—perfect for pedicures, for use as a leveling layer, or as a thin base coat under camouflage products. To ensure strong adhesion to the natural nail, it requires additional mechanical preparation of the nail plate.

Ingredients: Acrylate copolymer, HEMA, trimethylbenzene triphenylphosphine oxide

How to Apply Ice Base Edlen:

1. Perform standard nail prep, and additionally file the nail plate with a 180 grit file or buffer.

2. Cleanse the nail with a dehydrator to remove oils and debris.

3. Apply Ultrabond to ensure strong bonding with the natural nail.

4. Apply a thin layer of Ice Base Edlen and cure:

   • UV lamp – 90 seconds

   • LED/hybrid lamp – 60 seconds

5. Apply your chosen Color and cure:

   • UV lamp – 90 seconds

   • LED/hybrid lamp (min. 36W) – 60 seconds

6. Finish with a Top Coat and cure:

   • UV lamp – 180 seconds

   • LED/hybrid lamp – 120 seconds for long-lasting durability
