This dust collector is NOT recommended for manicures. The Sunflower effectively collects skin particles and light fine dust during pedicures, but it does not collect 100% heavy gel polish dust.

Sunflower is a health-related tool rather than a cleaning vacuum. Many nail technicians these days suffer from the various allergic dust produced by gel, acrylic, etc., as well as numerous fumes. When they work on the gels on the nails, some dust is airborne and some heavy dust falls down. Especially, airborne nail dust should be avoided before spread-out since the airborne dust is breathed in first. Sunflower stands on the table like a regular desk light and sucks up the airborne nail dust through a fan motor into the filter placed on the top of the machine while the heavy particles can be wiped out with a wet towel.

How to Operate

Turn switch downward to run motor and lamp, upward to turn on lamp only (or vice versa). To turn off place switch in the middle.

How to change/clean filter

1. Bend backward the flexible metal stand so that lamp sees the ceiling.
2. Open the filter housing by turning it counterclockwise.
3. Take out the filters and clean with regular vacuum or tapped it outside.

Please clean filter regularly (daily recommended and change it regularly (biweekly or monthly depends on your usage. Clean/empty filter works the best. Please do not overburdened motor with full filter. Motor damage due to filter neglect may not be covered by the warranty
