Recommended Use:

Use as your base coat for any Akzéntz colour or builder gel to create exceptional adhesion. Great for oily nails and problem-lifters. Best suited to normal-hard nails vs soft nails.

X-Bond replaces your base coat, and is applied ontothe natural nails. X-Bond should not be combinedwith the base coats from any product line - usingmultiple base coats will not improve adhesion.

(Example, in a Luxio colour service: Cleanse the nails with Prep & Wipe, apply Affixit, apply X-Bond andthen Luxio® colour.)

SPECIALTY GEL INSTRUCTIONS

X-Bond is compatible with all Akzéntz systems and replaces any base coat from those lines (do not layer base coats).
X-Bond is the only bonding gel in the Akzéntz product lineup that is deigned for use with both soak-off and hard gels. Choose X-Bond for clients who have retention issues
(specially pocket lifting/separation) with any Akzéntz gel system, and those who have oily but harder natural nails, soft nail types typically preform better with softer base coats like Luxio® Base or Options Opti-Bond.

Step 1:

Begin by thoroughly prepping the natural nails: cleanse with a Gel Wipe saturated with Akzéntz Prep & Wipe and scrub the nails, push back or remove cuticles, and buff the nail plate to remove all shine (we recommend a 180 grit file). Shape the nails as desired.

Step 2:

Apply Affixit or Sure Bond (optional) depending on the client’s needs and nail condition. Allow to fully dry.

Step 3:

Apply a very thin layer of X-Bond to the entire natural nail. The gel should be brushed on evenly and thinly—only a minimal amount is required for optimal bond - do not add bulk to the nails in this step. Cure for 30 seconds in an Akzéntz LED lamp.

Step 4:

Proceed with your chosen Akzéntz colour or builder gel as directed in the service protocol. (Pro-Formance, Luxio, Options, Gel-Play)
