Say goodbye to dust, debris, and extra prep time. Gel-X Prep® eliminates the need to manually etch the inside of your Gel-X® Tips — no more filing, no more mess. With a quick scrub of our gentle, non-acid formula, the inside of the tip is chemically etched and perfectly primed for Extend Gel application.

But that’s not all — Gel-X Prep® also doubles as your go-to surface prep after tip application. It gently buffs and texturizes the surface of the Gel-X® Tip, creating the ideal base for smooth, even gel color application.

With just one bottle, you can:

• Chemically etch the inside of Gel-X® Tips for superior bonding
• Prep and texture the outer surface for even, lasting color adhesion

It’s truly Gel-X® made simple.

How to Use

• Before Tip Application:
  Apply Gel-X Prep® to the inside of the Gel-X® Tip using a lint-free wipe or applicator brush. Scrub thoroughly to ensure full coverage. Let air dry completely — no need to rinse or cure. Apply Extend Gel and proceed with Gel-X® application as usual.
• After Tip Application (for Color Prep):
  Once tips are applied and cured, apply Gel-X Prep® to the outer surface of the Tip. Gently scrub to remove shine and add texture. Let dry completely before applying gel color.

Pro Tip: Use Gel-X Prep® before both extension and color application to ensure maximum adhesion and long-lasting wear.

• Same business day, excluding holidays, if the order is placed before 10:00 AM (EST)

Orders are processed and shipped Monday to Friday.

• We use Canada Post, UPS, Canpar, Purolator and Flashbird carriers.
