DARK Blooming base

DARK Blooming Base is a transparent, specially formulated base that creates a stunning “blooming” or spreading effect of gel polish. Perfect for marble, watercolor, smoke, and other creative nail art designs.

How It Works

Apply a thin layer of Blooming Base on a prepped nail surface without curing it. Immediately apply any colored gel polish on top — within about 20 seconds, the polish will naturally spread, forming unique artistic patterns. Once you’re happy with the result, cure it under a lamp.

Application Steps:

1. Perform a manicure, buff and cleanse the nail, then apply Dehydrator and Ultrabond.

2. For better adhesion, apply a thin layer of SCOTCH BASE or ICONIC BASE and cure.

3. Apply a leveling layer of DARK PRO BASE or any hard gel and cure.

4. If desired, apply colored gel polish in 1–2 layers, curing each for 60 seconds in an original lamp.

5. Apply a thin layer of Blooming Base, keeping away from the cuticle and sidewalls. On the wet surface, draw fine lines or drops of colored gel polish (one color or a mix). Allow the design to spread for about 20 seconds, then cure for 60 seconds.

6. Seal with any DARK Top Coat and cure for 120 seconds.

7. Finish by cleansing the skin and applying cuticle oil.

💡 Tip: Apply a very thin layer of Blooming Base. A thick coat may cause unevenness, which will require smoothing with a clear base.
